Creative Writing Tutoring and Mentoring

I am available for private Creative Writing tuition and mentoring at the rate of £30 an hour. The arrangement is bespoke and can be discussed in advance. If you have any queries please get in contact.

I graduated from my PhD in Creative Writing from Liverpool John Moores University in July 2024, and I am currently a panel tutor at University of Cambridge on the certificate, diploma, and MSt in Creative Writing courses, and previously a tutor and dissertation supervisor on their no longer running MSt Crime and Thriller Writing. I am also a tutor on the Professional Writing Academy‘s Fiction Foundations and Jumpstart Your Novel courses, as well as an associate tutor in creative writing at Edge Hill University.

I have also taught the modules Approaching Your Novel and Digital Writing on the BA Creative Writing course at Liverpool John Moores University, and conducted workshops for the MA in writing. Prior to this I had almost a decade lecturing experience in Audio Production.

I have a PGCert in Teaching Creative Writing from the University of Cambridge, and recently completed an MSc Psychology in Education, which I used to research teaching creative writing learning, with a special interest in neurodivergent learning.

I have also studied the Professional Writing Academy’s Story for Video Games and Therapeutic and Reflective Writing Courses. I hold level 2 counselling skills training.
